I have a long history of succeeding in, and then teaching, a number of subjects. Here are some of my qualifications:
- Instructor at Mathnasium Learning Center since March 2015
- Perfect score on redesigned SAT, composite score of 35 on ACT
- Scores of 5 on numerous AP exams, including calculus, physics, US history, Spanish, and statistics
- National Merit Finalist

My Philosophy
When choosing a tutor, it's important to pick someone who is knowledgeable, available, and personable. An effective tutor doesn't just know one strategy; they know many strategies and have the experience to determine which one will work best for each individual student.
I understand the value of a concrete and effective teaching system that can be personalized for each student. In addition, I constantly strive to balance professionalism and approachability to provide the best possible experience for both the student and the parents.
It's common for students to get lost in the early stages of learning. Without personalized and informed attention, it is easy for this to compound and become a real issue. When I work with students, I work on difficult concepts while reinforcing fundamentals and building new strategies for students to make their own success. Through this, students can understand and master both old and new ideas and techniques. I believe in guiding students to an answer rather than giving it to them, using concepts they already know combined with clear, real-world applications of principles they study.
